Firstbeat starts cooperation with the Russian Moskomsport - a centre for team sports and sports technology in Moscow. Firstbeat SPORTS software will be used extensively in the training of athletes receiving support from Moscow. The cooperation will be started from the triathlon and cycling teams including the world top 10 ranked triathletes Alexander Bryuhankov and Dmitry Polyansky and teams such as Moscow cycling team and Moscow city Triathlon.

Firstbeat SPORTS analysis will be taken as an integral part of the training process in which the Moscow Sport Committee is directly involved, supporting both their expertise in the field of physiology and the introduction of the latest Western (Finnish) developments in the preparation of their sportsmen. Behind earlier regular performance center based testing, now they will apply this unique opportunity of its kind to monitor the functional state of the athletes during the training process on daily basis and adjust the training on microcycle level.
